The Ksatria SUV and pickup truck will be produced under a licence from Force Motors and there are plans to produce the Ksatria SUV and pickup truck locally in Indonesia. Both of these vehicles will be initially sold to government agencies and reports suggest that a civilian version of the pickup truck will be available in the future.
Talking about the design of these SUVs, as mentioned previously the Ksatria SUV is essentially a re-badged version of the five-door version of the Force Gurkha.

At the front, both SUVs feature the same LED headlights, grille and front bumper the SUVs also get a bull guard along with the headlamp and indicator guards.
Moving on to the side, the Ksatria SUVs also get different alloy wheels. At the back is where the Ksatira SUV will feature LED tail-lights with a grille and a cover for the spare wheel.
Talking about the pick-up version, it gets a dual-cab design and the showcased vehicle has a missile launcher that is placed in the truck bed.

Moving on to the powertrain options, Republik Motor is using the same engine in the Ksatria SUVs that are found in the Gurkha.
Mercedes-derived 2.6-litre OM616 turbo diesel engine which produces 91hp and 250Nm of torque and will be paired with a 5-speed manual. It also comes with a low range and a four-wheel drive system with differential locks on all four wheels.

Will these come to India?
The Five-door version of the Force Gurkha is being readied for India launch soon, but the pickup truck version of the Gurkha will not launch in India anytime soon. If it does, it could become an affordable alternative to
SUVs like the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross and Toyota Hilux.
We expect Force to price the five-door Gurkha starting from Rs 16.5 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the five-door Gurkha will directly compete with the upcoming Maruti Jimny 5-door and Mahindra Thar 5-door.
