Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara First Drive Review | Should Creta, Seltos worry? | TOI Auto
The latest price hike ranges from Rs 20,000 to Rs 60,000, with the Style 1.5 MT and Monte Carlo 1.5 MT variants facing the highest increment. The Skoda Kushaq SUV is now priced from Rs 11.59 lakh to Rs 19.69 lakh. For reference, the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rivaling SUV was launched in India in June last year with prices starting from Rs 10.50 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 17.60 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
As mentioned earlier, this is the third time that the Kushaq’s price has been increased in 2022, with the previous two hikes coming in January and May of this year respectively. Apart from the two Korean SUVs, the Kushaq also faces competition from its own cousin, i.e. Volkswagen Taigun, as well as the newly launched Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
